I am the Executive Director of the Kenton County Public Library. I love to read non-fiction, especially local history but also have eclectic tastes in fiction.
I have been a shelver, historic newspaper indexer and Local History Librarian here at KCPL. From 1996-2000, I was the Archivist for Thomas More College and the Diocese of Covington. I have been Executive Director since 2007.
I love to travel, both here in the United States and abroad. I am also an avid reader. Initially I read almost entirely non-fiction. With the encouragement from my fellow librarians I have expanded my reading interests to fiction, including mysteries, popular titles and historical fiction. I read traditional books, eBooks, and digital audio books. I also like to write, especially about Northern Kentucky topics. This is truly one of my passions. Two of my most recent works are: Life Along the Ohio : A Sesquicentennial History of Ludlow, Kentucky (Little Miami Press 2014) and co-editor of Gateway City : Covington, Kentucky, 1815-2015 (Clerisy Press 2015).
